Vivir en Egipto. Parte I

Hola a todos Asaliyos/as.  Después de un largo tiempo sin escribir en mi blog me decido a contaros mis peripecias en Hurgada.

¿Cómo terminé viviendo en esta preciosa ciudad? Bien, no fue para nada premeditado, simplemente me deje llevar por lo que el universo me iba trayendo y yo fui escogiendo que camino.

Estaba viviendo en Dubai, a comienzos del 2021 el gobierno de Dubai decidió que el entretenimiento tenía que cancelarse, imagínense, cantantes, músicos y bailarines entre otros sin poder trabajar.

Medité durante unas hora y sin más,  decidí probar en Egipto.

Egipto es un país familiar para mí, creo es de los rincones del mundo donde mejor me manejo. Después de haberlo visitado durante 15 años consecutivos, para aprender y mejorar diferentes estilos, es sin duda como mi segunda casa. Mis estancias eran a menudo largas, iba para un Festival de una semana y siempre terminaba cambiando mi billete para quedarme allí un mes aproximadamente.

Con el tiempo y mi pasión por los idiomas, entre ellos el árabe desarrollé una gran conexión, ayudada de saber comunicarme con los egipcios en su propio dialecto, y esto fue a más, hasta el punto de matricularme en la escuela de idiomas para aprender el árabe moderno.

Fue pensado y hecho, y ¿por qué no ir a Egipto? Y así fue, hacer maletas y rumbo a el Cairo un 8 de febrero del 2021.

Los primeros días los pasé en el Cairo, en casa de mi querido amigo Amir, una de las más bellas personas que he conocido, me he acogió de nuevo en su casa junto a su estupenda familia.

Por las amistades que tenía, músicos y bailarines pensé inicialmente asentarme en la ciudad cairota, y por otra parte quería tomarme unas vacaciones. Decidí ir a Hurgada, lugar que también conocía y allí todo se desenvolvió de una forma mágica.

Fue llegar a la ciudad y, sin yo pedirlo tener casa y trabajo en apenas 5 días. Pide y se te dará, lo habréis escuchado, ¿cierto?

En la segunda parte os contaré que sucedió a partir de ese preciso instante.

Cualquier curiosidad que tengáis respecto a mi estancia allí durante mis 8 meses, preguntadme, aquí estoy dispuesta a contestar todo lo que pueda.

Hello my dear Asaliyos. Here I am to tell you about my adventures in Hurghada.
How did I end up living in this beautiful city? Well, it wasn't by thoughtful choice.
I was living in Dubai, at the beginning of 2021 the Dubai government decided that entertainment had to be cancelled, just imagine, singers, musicians and dancers among others not being able to work.
I thought and after thinking, not much 😉 I decided to try Egypt.
Egypt is a familiar country for me, I think it is one of the corners of the world where I manage best. After having visited it for 15 consecutive years, to learn and improve different styles, it is without a doubt like my second home. My stays were often long, I went for a Festival for a week and always ended up changing my ticket to stay there for a month or so.
Over time and my passion for languages, including Arabic, I developed a great connection, helped by knowing how to communicate with Egyptians in their own dialect, and this went further, to the point of enrolling in language school to learn the modern arabic.
It was thought and done, and why not go to Egypt? And so I was, packing and heading to Cairo on February 8, 2021.
The first days I spent in Cairo, at the house of my dear friend Amir, one of the most beautiful people I have ever met, he welcomed me back into his house with his wonderful family.
Because of the friends I had, musicians and dancers, I initially thought of settling in the city of Cairo, and on the other hand I wanted to take a vacation. I decided to go to Hurghada, a place I also knew, and there everything unfolded in a magical way.
I was arriving into the city and, without me asking, to have a house and work in just 5 days. Ask and it will be given to you, you will have heard it, right?
In the second part I will tell you what happened from that precise moment.
